After the two air maintenance companies, Taikoo and Jardine, merged to form HAECO in 1950, the Taikoo hangar was knocked down. Guess what became of the dismembered hangar?

The selling of the HAECO aeroplane hangar to Shaw Brothers (HK) Ltd
After the merger, Taikoo’s PAMAS hangar was torn down, cut up and sold to Shaw Brothers. The movie production company reassembled it into a studio in Clear Water Bay. So it became a film factory.
