Taking the minibus during the 1967 Riots
It was difficult to find bus during the riots. But there was the pig-cage bus, and we had to bring along a stool to sit. Our company gave us travel subsidy. Later the company ran pig-cage bus to carry us around.

Bus service was suspended at that time. There was no car but the 9-seater minibus that ran amid chaos!
Taking the minibus during the 1967 Riots
I rode my motorcycle to work during the riots. I lived in Tsuen Wan, and the company gave me over $400 per month as travel subsidy. If you lived nearer they gave you less; if you lived further away they gave you more. Every month we filled in the form and sent it in to the company.
