At the west end of the Parade Ground is a standalone armoury and store. It was built in 1925 as a two-storey, red brick building. Cornerstones decorate the corners of the walls. The façade of the building faces the Parade Ground and is partitioned by four columns. The entrance, however, opens on the side of the building possibly to avoid injuring the police on the Parade Ground in case of explosions. During the Japanese occupation, the building was used as a stable for Japanese Guards. Before the CPS closed down, the building served as the offices of the Island District Accident Investigation Section.
