“Little Match Maker” is a three-part comedy, each part lasting 30 minutes. It was broadcast on Radio Hong Kong in the 1950s. Performers include Chung Wai Ming, Wei Guowei, Mei Zi, Pong Bik-wan and Lu Qiwen. Chung plays Jian Wenjie, a university student who meets Wei Baozhu, a neighbour, while home on holiday and finds her extremely beautiful. Unfortunately, she is courted by Mo, the son of a wealthy family friend. A battle begins between Jian and Mo for her hand. Baozhu is interested in Jian but their friendship is opposed by her parents. Her younger brother plays the match maker who brings the lovers together.
