Chung Wai Ming Recalls His Primary School Days
He attended the nearby Dun Mei Primary School. His fond memories of his days there are recorded in this track. He loved listening to his teachers telling stories, which was one reason why he enjoyed school so much. He recalls some of the peculiarities of school in those days, such as the meting out of corporal punishment and the way boys and girls were made to sit in different parts of the classroom. In particular, he remembers the special attention that teachers paid to students’ diction, a skill that would have a long term impact on his own career.
