Haydn: The Seasons (節錄) (1959)
1957年，中英管弦樂團(Sino-British Orchestra)正式易名香港管弦樂團 (Hong Kong Philharmonic)，10月31日在香港大學陸佑堂舉行音樂會。是晚演出曲目包括《秘密的婚姻》序曲和貝多芬第三鋼琴協奏曲。高潮是管弦樂團跟香港聖樂團(The Hong Kong Oratorio Society)合作演出海頓的清唱劇《四季》(The Seasons)。

and bids his driving sleets deform the day and chill the morn.

and smiling on our plains descend, while music wakes around.
