Observation：In an earlier year the worshippers provide a clear picture of clan leadership. Wine-cup in hand the bald-headed juk-jeung leads the worship, while behind him the heads of the two branches of the clan to which he does not belong kneel to wait their turn to make a libation. These three are the true ritual leaders of the clan, but behind them stand the men who actually hold power, the political leaders (a professional photographer, a police officer, two school headmasters, and various businessmen), and they too will step forward to bow and offer wine in their turn.
