| OBSERVATIONS | Six days later everyone returned to the site to hold the formal ceremony marking the completion of the grave, now fully sealed, painted and cleaned up. The ‘wakening of the dragon’ of the site which will bring peace to the deceased’s soul and benefits to his descendants was accomplished with a long string of firecrackers, and the family then went back to their village to hold a banquet in honour of the occasion. In this case the family were very well satisfied that the benefits they had asked the geomancer to secure were indeed forthcoming. |
