In 1915, Kwan established Asiatic Lithographic Printing Press in Shek Tong Tsui, Hong Kong. It engaged in the design and printing of commercial art for companies in Hong Kong, Southeast Asia and the Mainland (especially Shanghai and Guangzhou). Its clients included Kwong Sang Hong Ltd., Axe Brand Universal Oil, Wong Cheung-Wah Yu Yee Oil, Tin Hee Tong Medicine Factory Ltd., Kun Lun Medicated Oil, The National Lacquer & Paint Products Co. Ltd., Wong Wing Kee Preserved Fruits Factory Limited and The China Paint Mfg. Co.
