The Repulse Bay and Hotel around 1925. The Repulse Bay Hotel, opened in 1919, was run by Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels until its demolition in 1982. It was the most famous building in southern Hong Kong. The picture shows that the beach was much narrower than it is today.
