新一代的潮，由電影帶動。日戰前洋電影在本地放映的數字每年平均超過二百部。黃湛森抵港後，數字有增無減。慢慢，讀番書，看洋戲，玩舶來的呼拉圈和搖搖，在年輕人之中，變得理所當然。
