A Journey of City Relics

About the Exhibitions

Wandering around the main streets and lanes in Central or passing by the shops and buildings aside the streets, people might not be aware of the historical events once happening at the corner of the streets, or the rich histories the glitter high-rise could speak to us, Hong Kong's urban landscape changes a lot over time, sometimes even without leaving us a trace of the distant past.

Alfred Sung is local comic writer, author and media worker. He helps us recall the historical memories of our city by reconstructing the historical scenes and by telling their stories from one place to another in a creative and imaginative way. Using texts, comic works, graphics and photographs, he shoes us in the exhibition the disappeared historical landscape, the street scenes and the disappeared buildings and retrieves their forgotten histories.
