Content The history of Ka Wah Bank Co. Ltd. can be traced back to the establishemnt of Ka Wah Ngan Ho on 2 February 1922 by the late Dr. Lam Chi Fung in Guangzhou. Its name was derived from Ka Nam Tong and Nam Wah Company. In December 1924, the bank registered as a limited company Ka Wah Savings Bank Limited in Hong Kong, with a total paid-up capital of HK$500,000. Its head office was located at 208-210 Des Voeux Road Central.
