We're getting close to the last stop now. Mr. Sun will walk round the place where his undercover heroes had been — that is, Bonham Strand, the commercial hub of Hong Kong merchants.

In 1905, Mr. Sun and his comrades united a number of revolutionary organizations in the world to form Tongmenghui (Chinese Alliance) in Japan. Keeping to the mission of the Revive China Society, Tongmenghui strove to "expel the Tartar barbarians, revive Chinese rule, establish a Republic and equalize land rights".

The same year saw the establishment of its Hong Kong branch, followed by that of a southern division and a management division at a later date, both in Hong Kong. Headed by Hu Hanmin, Wang Jingwei, Huang Xing and Chen Jiongming, these bodies served as the base for "border revolutions" in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunan and Fujian.
